　サギノー市、徳島市の姉妹都市交流４５周年、そして茶室建設２０年を記念して、ご招待いただき有り難うございます。

Good evening, everyone.
I'd like to express my sincere thanks to everyone for inviting us to commemorate our 45-year sister city relationship and the 20th anniversary of the tea house.



　徳島市国際交流協会会長 森住 博です。５月２７日に就任したばかりの私にとって初めての大仕事がサギノー市訪問となりました。

I am Hiromu Morizumi, President of Tokushima International Association.
Visiting Saginaw is my first mager duty since I became president on May 27th.



　原秀樹徳島市長ご夫妻、三木俊治元市長様ご夫妻、そして淡交会の皆様のお供できましたことはこの上無い喜びとするものでございます。

I am pleased to be joined by our Mayor Hideki Hara and his wife as well as former mayor Toshiji Miki and his wife and members of the Tankokai tea ceremony group.



　加えて、５年前、陽子様が徳島にお出でになった時の約束ではございましたが、写真展「徳島の祭り」を展覧させて頂くことができました。徳島県内各地のお祭り風景、そして阿波踊りの写真です。ご高覧いただければ幸です。
これらの作品は広くサギノー市民に見ていただき文化交流のお役に立てるべく、全点寄贈してまいります。

In addition, I am honored to fulfill a promise I made to Ms. Yoko Mossner 5 years ago to hold my photo exhibition, "Festivals in Tokushima". These pictures were taken at various festivals such as Awa Odori . I hope you enjoy my exhibition.
I'd like for many Saginaw residents to see these pictures and hope they will help foster intercultural understanding. Therefore I offer them as a gift.



　People to Peopleが徳島市国際交流協会の行動原理です。ＴＩＡもまた本年創立２５周年となります。５０周年に向け、更なるな交流の輪を広げてまいりたいと考えております。ご指導ご鞭撻のほどよろしくお願いいたします。有り難うございました。

TIA's motto is "People to People". TIA also celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
I believe that relations between Saginaw and Tokushima will deepen more and more as we move towards our 50th sister city relationship Anniversary.
